Board of Directors


Ann Goldfarb, JD, Chairman, has championed many children’s health and safety causes throughout her career. She currently serves on the Boulder County Department of Social Services Child Protection Review Team. Ann has previously served in many child advocacy roles including:

• Deputy District Attorney and member of the Child Abuse Prosecution Unit for the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office;
• Director of State and Regional Team (START) on Crimes Against Children at The C. Henry Kempe National Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect;
• Member of the Child Protection Team for University Hospital and Children's Hospital of Denver where she reviewed cases of child abuse and neglect;
• Board member of the Colorado Coalition for the Protection of Children; and
• Appointee to the Governor's Commission on Child Abuse and Neglect.

Ann received a BA degree in sociology from the University of Colorado. At the graduate level, she studied clinical child psychology at the University of Nebraska, and received her law degree from the University of Colorado, School of Law in 1980.

David Villecco, Vice Chairman, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado in May, 2006. He has participated in several grassroots organizations, coordinated lectures, and served as the volunteer coordinator for the 2007 Broomfield Family Wellness Event. David has experience coaching youth soccer and tutoring children with special needs. He currently works for Wire One Communications, Inc. as a Financial Operations Specialist.

Tom Fattor, CPA , Treasurer, has worked in both public and corporate accounting for over thirty years. Tom was senior partner in the firm of Fattor, Probst & Dallmann, PC, until his retirement in 2001. With Tom’s talents, retirement was temporary as he is now Controller for the Siegel Oil Company of Denver. Tom has been a member of many boards dedicated to civic, religious and educational improvement. These include the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, the Nativity Parish Pastoral Council, the (Denver) Center for Hearing, Speech and Language, and the Holy Family High School Board of Trustees. He has been a volunteer for many projects organized by these and other organizations. Tom received his B.A. in 1965 from St. Benedict's College in Atchison, Kansas, completed his accounting and business studies at Denver University and University of Colorado at Denver, and became a CPA in May, 1974.

Marian Abboud, MAEd, Secretary brings 35 years of teaching experience from four states. Marian’s passion to work with special needs children led her to serve on the Child Study Team that helped special needs students. Throughout her career, she served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and speech and language therapist. Marian served as Executive Director of Diamond Bar Children’s Theatre for seven years. Marian continues to teach students in community math programs and is active in initiating the Rotary Interact Program at Broomfield High School. For the last six years, she has volunteered with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) as a student educational advocate. Marian graduated from the Univ. of Nebraska with a BS in Elementary Education.  She has many graduate hours in Speech Therapy, and a masters in Educational Administration from California State.  Marian continued taking graduate classes in Speech and Language until retirement and still considers herself to be a lifelong student.

Brian Kenyon, DC, MBA, is the director of FIT Wellness Center in Broomfield, CO, which opened in 2000. Brian is the first chiropractor appointed to care for the Rocky Mountain Rage hockey and Colorado 14ers basketball professional teams who play in Broomfield, CO. Brian serves on the Broomfield City Council, Broomfield Open Space and Trails Committee, Broomfield Board of Health, Broomfield Urban Renewal Authority, and various other City and County of Broomfield Boards. Brian has a BS in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ where he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the varsity athletics. He has a MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado at Denver. He also has a Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena, TX where he graduated in 1998.

EricHarris

Eric Harris brings over thirty-three years as a human resources manager with the City of Boulder. His responsibilities included the management and administration of an eight million dollar fund budget, supervisory and employee counseling/career development coaching, worker's compensation and wellness program management. After retirement, Eric returned to city employment in a different capacity to assist with special projects, program development, implementation, coordination, and administration. Eric is a trained mediator, organizational and employee trainer, and group facilitator. Eric has administrative and management responsibilities in union negotiations, and dispute resolution. Eric’s areas of expertise include work in risk management, workers' compensation, EEOC, Union negotiations including Interest Based Bargaining and traditional negotiations, employment, employee safety, and wellness programs.

Eric attended the University of Colorado and received an academic and football scholarship. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration with emphasis in marketing and organizational development. He holds several certifications including SPHR certification. Over the years, Eric has volunteered with a variety of non-profit organizations and committees and currently serves as the Vice President of the Boulder Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors, and Boulder High School volunteer.


Eric Jonsen, JD, currently works  as general counsel to Wiens Capital Management  in Broomfield principally in the areas of business and corporate law.  Since being admitted to  the Colorado bar in1985, he has  represented clients in Colorado, U.S. District Court, District of Colorado and U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, New York, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Eric graduated magna cum laude from Hartwick College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned his law degree from the University of Colorado Law School in 1985. He also served as an instructor in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy at the University of Colorado Law School during 1984-1985 , and gives yearly lectures at the law school legal aid clinic on various legal topics . He has been recognized in Who's Who in American Law.  Eric has served as a past President of the Broomfield Crossings Rotary, on the Board of Directors for the Broomfield Blast Soccer Club, and many other volunteer hours supporting children's causes.

Gigi Healy, MA, serves as Vice President of Human Resources, Legal and Administration for The Parent Company in the Denver area. She brings over 25 years experience in human resources and strategic business development to the organization. Previously, Gigi owned and operated Harvest Resources, a human resources consulting practice. Gigi also held Vice President of Human Resources positions at Soundtrack and Gart Sports (now the Sports Authority). Prior business experience includes May Company Department Stores, Macy’s New York and Fedco in Los Angeles. Prior teaching experience includes Landmark High School, outside of Boston, MA where she taught Learning Disabled adolescents and ran the school’s sexuality classes. Gigi holds a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University in Special Education and a master's degree from Boston College in Adolescent and Adult Counseling.

Chris Marchioni, MD, Executive Director, has over twenty years of clinical experience as a family medicine physician who has worked extensively with children of all ages. Throughout her medical career, Dr. Marchioni has developed and taught educational programs for parents, childcare professionals, educators, and students. Dr. Marchioni graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in chemistry and attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania where she received her medical doctorate degree in 1984. She completed a residency in family medicine and remains board certified in this field. Dr. Marchioni’s passion is to support the whole child by connecting wellness and learning for children’s futures.
